relations, community reinvestment and community sponsorship areas of People’s United Bank,
and (2) charitable giving through the People’s United Community Foundation.

choose to make a difference in our world in three major areas: (1) community relations, including
volunteerism and our nationally-acclaimed “Masters Program,” (2) community reinvestment, including serving the

community sponsorship of events/activities that benefit the cities and towns in which we conduct business.

the bank. The mission of People's United Community Foundation is to invest in programs and services that enhance
the quality of life in the communities served by People’s United Bank.
People’s United Community Foundation supports 501(c)3 non-profit organizations through grants. Its primary areas
of focus are community development, youth development, and affordable housing.

Danversbank Charitable Foundation Inc. was designed to further support Danversbank, which was acquired by
People’s United Bank in 2011. The Danversbank Charitable Foundation continues to provide funding to eligible
organizations within the former Danversbank branch communities.
The mission of the Danversbank Charitable Foundation Inc. is to strengthen its communities and the residents who
reside in them by providing funding to eligible non-profit organizations serving them. The vision is to find
opportunities to make valuable investments in these communities, in charitable, scientific, literary or
educational areas where this funding will yield significant results within the community.
Danversbank Charitable Foundation’s primary areas of giving include social, health, youth services, education,
affordable housing, cultural, and low-to- moderate income individuals.
