Greenwich Associates Recognizes People’s United For Excellence In Small Business Banking

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Greenwich Associates, a research-based strategy management firm, awarded People’s United six national and two regional awards for “Excellence in Small Business Banking.”

Of the more than 750 banks evaluated by Greenwich Associates, only 43 received “Excellence in Small Business Banking” awards and People’s United was the only bank headquartered in New England to receive this recognition. Greenwich Associates compiled its results based on approximately 13,500 interviews of executives across the country at businesses with annual sales of $1 million to $10 million.

People’s United earned the 2011 Greenwich Excellence awards in the “National Winners” category for Overall Satisfaction, Relationship Manager Performance, Financial Stability, Branch Satisfaction, Treasury Management – Overall Satisfaction, and Treasury Management – Customer Service.

The Greenwich Excellence awards in the “Regional Winners - Northeast” category that People’s United won were for Overall Satisfaction and Treasury Management – Overall Satisfaction .
